From Goals to Growth
15 Mar by Coach Allen
As the season moves forward, we want to continue keeping everyone connected to the development taking place within the program. Our focus has always gone beyond games and tournaments. The goal is to build habits, strengthen fundamentals, and help each player grow in ways that translate to the court.
Recently, we spent time identifying individual areas of growth for each player. These goals give them clear direction on what to focus on as they continue improving their skills, confidence, decision making, and physical play. Development is a process, and having intentional goals helps keep that process moving in the right direction.
We appreciate the commitment our players continue to show and the support from families that makes this environment possible.
Here are the recommended action plans for each player based on the development goals they identified on the whiteboard. These steps are designed to help guide their growth in skill, confidence, and decision-making as we continue building throughout the season.

The standard for this group remains simple. Compete, improve, and represent the program the right way. Every practice is an opportunity to sharpen skills and build habits that will carry forward into games and future seasons.
We are excited to see the progress that continues to unfold as the players attack their individual goals and challenge each other to improve. The work being put in now will continue to shape the team we become.
