As the regular season comes to a close, take a second to appreciate what you just accomplished. Your freshman varsity season is complete. Competing at the varsity level as a freshman takes growth, toughness, and maturity. You earned it.

For those whose teams did not make the playoffs, take time to reflect. Learn from it. Reset if needed. AAU season is coming, and the work continues.

Freshman year was about adjusting to the speed, the strength, and the expectations of varsity basketball. Now you understand the standard. Carry that forward.
